ABOUT THE POSITION
Reporting to the Director, HR and Compliance, the Payroll Clerk administers pay and benefits services to salary and casual employees within all employee groups, as well as contract individuals. This position functions with considerable independence in reviewing and processing payroll documentation. The Payroll Clerk is also responsible for responding to payroll and benefit inquiries from managers and employees.

Some of the responsibilities include:
  • Process payroll documents in the electronic system for salary, casual & contract individuals. Responsible for inputting of casual timesheets and contract invoices to meet existing payroll confirmation dates for salary and casual/contract employees.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Post-secondary education in accounting or business administration. Equivalencies may be considered.
  • Certification as a Payroll Compliance Practitioner with the Canadian Payroll Association would be considered a definite asset.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in payroll and finance.
  • Data entry experience with a strong attention to detail and the ability to ensure great accuracy.

The Position
The Disability Service Worker will support an adult to gain independent living skills, including assistance with daily living activities (meal preparation, household chores, laundry, etc.) and community access (accessing transportation to educational, recreation and community programs/events). The Position
The Disability Support Worker (DSW) supports individuals with diverse abilities, including developmental disabilities in their home (coaching/supporting with daily activities/household chores) to encourage independence and in the community; attending appointments, be involved in recreational/social activities, volunteer, etc. Encourage integration into the
community.

Challenging behaviours may occur on a daily basis and therefore, only applicants with a minimum of 1 year experience working with persons with complex disabilities/significant mental health concerns, aggressive behaviours and/or trauma will be considered for this position.

Responsibilities include:

* Experienced pipefitter journeyperson with skills and ability to lead team of journeypersons and apprentices. Assigning daily tasks and performing front line supervision for a crew of 8 to 12 workers.
* Conduct daily and weekly safety meetings and inspections and complete follow-up activities. Complete daily activity reports/daily logs and submit to Supervisor

* Promote and ensure the FLRA (Field Level Risk Assessment) process is conducted before every task with the crew. Review weekly servicing and preventative maintenance schedules.

* Ensure all new hires/transfers receive required orientations. Attend and participate in site specific orientations
